My school only ordered cats to dissect this year. Being a new teacher, I did not feel confident enough to lead a cat dissection. I felt guilty that it was nearing the end of the year and my Honors Human Physiology students had not gotten a chance to dissect anything. I was not sure if this would come in on time, but I messaged customer service about my concern and they rush delivered the specimens. My classes got to dissect these eyes during the last week of school. It was Awesome! Thank you.
As a small suggestion: leaving on a larger length of the optic nerve would have helped my students. However, many of them found it anyway.
I love their products, and my students always enjoy dissections at the end of the year. This year, the shipping took too long and the products weren’t received until after school was over. I will use them again next year, but I will be sure to order my products a month in advance.
We use this sheep eye for an Advanced Surgical Procedure Course to simulate live ocular tissue for conjunctival surgeries. Very beneficial to get a realistic response under the microscope on tissue.
Always good
These eyes were in excellent shape when they arrived. They were perfect for dissection and were not collapsed.
