These were good items, individually wrapped well, good size and plenty to find in each pellet. Would purchase again!
We ordered five owl pellets: One each for my ninth grader, sixth grader, fourth grader, and kindergartner, and then one for me, the teacher. they arrived packaged in balls of aluminum foil. When we opened them, some were one giant pellet. Others were two smaller pellets packaged together. I really had no idea how amazingly cool this project would be for everyone. Some of the pellets contained rodent skulls with tiny little teeth attached. My six year old enthusiastically declared that this was “his favorite and best day of learning ever”! A great activity for all ages! (I found a free printable online for each student that showed all of the possible bones and which animals they would have a come from so they could try to scientifically match the bones to the animals.)
My daughter is homeschooled. One thing she appreciated about private school was the lab projects in science. No more! The pellets supplied made a really enjoyable lab. Arrived in great condition. One had two skulls in it, which was exciting. We bought a few so I could dissect one, too. We will purchase more supplies from this company. Extremely happy with our purchase.
Love it, the kids enjoyed digging thru these and finding a great variety of bones
let me start by saying that this is our 7-8th order and the first with any problems. other pellets, sheep hearts, lungs, eyes etc were all A+. This order had 25 pellets and almost all were very dry and crumbled when the students worked with them. About half the pellets had no skulls which is the part that excites my students the most. Not giving up on Biology Products because of this one order-- most likely covid disruptions hurt them just as it has almost everyone else. We will be ordering from them in the future.
