Because of their classic mammalian characteristics, the similarities to human anatomy and the ability to see internal structures without magnification, pigs are the most studied animal in instructional laboratories.
Injection Types:
- Plain - No Injection
- Single - Red latex injected into the arterial system
- Double - Red latex injected into the arterial system as well as blue latex injected into the venous system
- Triple - Red latex injected into the arterial system, blue latex injected into the venous system, as well as yellow latex injected into the hepatic portal system

I ordered 20 pigs in total. 10 7-9 and 10 9-11. I received 10 12 inch pigs which made it very challenging. So while I was able to make it work between my schools I would have preferred a correct order. The pigs themselves were high quality and the students had a great lesson.

While the actual product is fine, I have 2 comments. Better quality packing tape, or more tape on each box would be beneficial. For the 2nd year in a row, by the time the delivery reached the high school, boxes were spilling their contents. YIKES!! We placed the order and requested delivery by 3/17 for delivery on or around 3/24/25. They shipped on January 10th. When I called customer service, the person I spoke to didn't really seem concerned, but commented that the delivery met the criteria because it was "by 3/17". No apology or concern that the shipment was 2 full months before we anticipated.
I have always been pleased with the products purchased from Biology Products. My recent order arrived quickly.
