Low quality dissection specimens

I ordered these for an 11th grade class of students in a biology course. Last year, the specimens were intact. This year, they arrived with the outermost (tough) layer of tissue that encases the testis and epididymis removed. The epididymis was also removed. This made the exploratory dissection quite useless for the students.
