Q: What animals do you accept?

A: The program is designated for cat specimens.

 

Q: What size should the cat specimen be?

A: The program is designated to donate $10  per cat specimens that are 10 inches and over from the base of their tails to the tip of their snout while in a relaxed position measured on the stomach side. We will however allow smaller cat specimens, there would be no donation on them.

 

Q: How does the donation work?

A: During pickup our driver will count the cat specimens and write you a check at the end of his visit.

 

Q: What does Bio Corporation do with the cat specimens?

A: Bio Corporation collects the cats and transports them back to our facility in Alexandria, MN. Once they arrive we thaw them out, preserve them.

 

Q: How does pick up work?

A: Your facility would be added to one of Bio Corporations routes, when the driver is in your area he will give you a call to check if you need a pick up. If you do, driver adds you to the schedule. Once driver arrives they will empty the freezer, count and load cat specimens, and issue a check. If you do not need a pick up when they call you simply let driver know and they will keep trucking on.

Q: Who can participate?

A: Cat specimens must be put down by a licensed tech. Documentation must be completed to follow USDA protocol.
