  1. Got a skull from both my pellets!

Love it, the kids enjoyed digging thru these and finding a great variety of bones

  2. lacking

Posted by snowshoer in CNY on Jun 15th 2021

let me start by saying that this is our 7-8th order and the first with any problems. other pellets, sheep hearts, lungs, eyes etc were all A+. This order had 25 pellets and almost all were very dry and crumbled when the students worked with them. About half the pellets had no skulls which is the part that excites my students the most. Not giving up on Biology Products because of this one order-- most likely covid disruptions hurt them just as it has almost everyone else. We will be ordering from them in the future.

    These are so fun!

  4. Pellets

My 5th graders love this lab. It's usually their first dissection experience. I ordered 15 pellets. They all had bones, but 3 were missing skulls, which is the most thrilling find for them. Luckily the 3 who didn't get a skull were able to dissection the last pellet together and they found a complete skull with the bottom jaw with it.

  5. Success!

Each owl pellet had a number of specimen for the students to feel successful as they disected. It was great fun for them!

  6. Owl Pellets are such fun!

My classes were enthralled, even though many had done these in previous grades. The articulation was challenging, but very eye-opening to them.

  7. Science fair project

I was very pleased with the quality of the owl pellet. It was perfect for my daughter's science fair project.

  8. To Small Owl Pellets

Posted by Tereasa Vachon on Feb 19th 2019

In my 16 years of teaching anatomy & physiology these are the smallest pellets I have dissected. And the most expensive.

  9. Students love them!

Posted by Allison Reesh on Feb 13th 2018

We dissect these while studying the skeletal system. The students love them. The first time I ordered them, they were all great, multiple skeletons, some bird some rodent. I had a lot of little tiny ones this time, that did not have much of anything in them, but I had extra and just gave those students an extra one. Most of them were great!

  10. High quality, low stink!

Posted by Sam Macklay on Feb 7th 2018

The students had a great time dissecting these! Takes a while to do it right. Most contained 3 or 4 skeletons.
