These rats are vibrantly stained due to their young age. The blue cartilage is evenly distributed throughout its body highlighting areas of development. Cartilage can be found between joints, front of the ribs, and even in the skull.

Diaphonized specimens can take 6-8 weeks from date of order to arrive.

What is diaphonization? The process the makes muscles and tissues transparent. Special stains target regions of the skeleton - blue for the cartilage and red, purple or pink for  bones.
