Description
Because of their classic mammalian characteristics, the similarities to human anatomy and the ability to see internal structures without magnification, pigs are the most studied animal in instructional laboratories.
Injection Types:
- Plain - No Injection
- Single - Red latex injected into the arterial system
- Double - Red latex injected into the arterial system as well as blue latex injected into the venous system
- Triple - Red latex injected into the arterial system, blue latex injected into the venous system, as well as yellow latex injected into the hepatic portal system

These were the tiniest pigs I've ever used..... plus they didn't feel very stiff. They were almost like live flesh.
should have ordered the bigger ones, learned my lesson
All my specimens from Bio are great and don't stink as much as my past experience with other providers. I do wish the shipping wouldn't take so long. My school gets them within a week. When I have them shipped to my house, it takes 4-6 weeks. So, I have to make sure our chapters correlate. Not sure why that is but because of the great product, it's worth it.
I blindly ordered the wrong size of this time. Fortunately, the return is incredible smooth and customer service is very helpful. I will be getting the correct size next time.
The kids really got into the dissection of the fetal pigs. What a great experience for them!
