Description

Offer hands-on learning that helps students truly understand amphibian anatomy and biology concepts in ways a textbook alone can’t. Benefits of a bullfrog dissection:

  • Clear View of Organ Systems – Bullfrogs are large enough to easily see major organs like the heart, lungs, liver, and digestive system, making identification easier for beginners.

  • Amphibian Anatomy & Adaptations – Students can study how bullfrogs are adapted for life both in water and on land, including specialized muscles, lungs, and skin.

  • Comparative Anatomy – Bullfrogs share many anatomical similarities with other vertebrates, so students can compare them to fish, mammals, or birds to see evolutionary relationships.

  • Engaged Learning – Hands-on activities like dissection improve memory retention and keep students actively involved in the lesson.

Choose the Injection needed for your dissection lab:

  • Plain - No Injection
  • Single - Red latex injected into the arterial system
  • Double - Red latex injected into the arterial system as well as blue latex injected into the venous system
  • Triple - Red latex injected into the arterial system, blue latex injected into the venous system, as well as yellow latex injected into the hepatic portal system

*Please note this item is preserved for educational display or dissection use. Product is not alive nor is it edible.

Stiffer than I remember in the past

It was stiffer than I remember in the past. It also came with a cut / torn skin already in one leg. But overall, it was in good condition and well preserved.
I appreciate Biology Products' willingness to postpone delivery until I needed it for my class.

Hello. Thank you for the review. Looking at the order I do see that you ordered the single injected frogs. The cut on the leg is needed to find the artery to do that injection. Let me know if you have any questions.

The frogs were well preserved and smelled less than frogs I used previously

The frogs were well preserved and smelled less than frogs I used previously. I appreciate the bucket packaging which can be reused, as opposed to those individually wrapped in plastic.
