Mislabled, but quality cats

The cats are good specimens and work well with an Anatomy dissection. We dissect for 6-7 weeks and they typically last that long just fine. A couple start to smell a little early, but that's a hard thing to predict so I'm not worried about that. My biggest complaint is the labeling. The boxes were completely mislabeled with male/female. What was in the box did not match what it said was in there. Some of the labels on the bag are also incredibly difficult to read (can't tell if it's the male or female symbol). If it's an intact male it's easy to figure out, but it's difficult if not. This made assigning cats to groups take twice as long as it should have and wasted valuable class time. I would say to be aware of the issue and check the individual cats before class instead of depending on the box labels, which wastes valuable planning time.
