Best size clams for seeing all of the mollusk parts

I chose to buy bigger clams to see if there was much a difference this year - these are the BEST clams I have had in 20 years. The adductor muscles are much larger (like quarter to half dollar size), but as long as you have screwdrivers to pry the shells apart, the students were able to find and cut them with scalpels fairly easily.
