Nice specimen -- MUCH larger than expected! Would've been good to know ahead of time.
The horseshoe crab was much larger than expected. I thought it was to be 2" to 7" long but I was mistaken. It was 7" in diameter and came in a long package. It was very nice.
I was a bit surprised that they came rather "wet". I had not ordered them before and only had handled the dry ones that our biology department had for years. Once they dried out in our green house for a few days, they were fine.
The "ALIEN CRAB" documentary film made me see how important the Horseshoe crab is to the United States.
