Due to a recent starfish shortage, we were warned that the starfish available might be small and they were, which made the dissection not ideal. However, they arrived on time as promised and in perfectly preserved condition.
Saved me in a pinch

The starfish were very small at 2-4 inches. I couldn't complain since I couldn't find them anywhere else.
Some of the starfish arms were broken or even broken off.

The quality fit the price. Shipping took a bit, so do not order if you need them asap, but if you a good planner, it was a great product to use. Perfect size for my middle school dissection.

I have ordered many of these and the quality is great. The weird thing is I’ve gotten different species of starfish each order. Sometimes I get white, and others I get pink/red. I really like the thicker pink/red ones I recently got this order, so hopefully they have these ones in stock for a while.

Students had a great time with these specimens. One came with a broken arm, but the rest were as expected and a good size.
Preserved speciman is cost effective.
